Your lovely image reminds me of the sensibility of my friend Tim May ( http://www.pbase.com/mityam/image/35943560 ) who has often found eloquent symbolism in lonely, detached, dead leaves. The birds seem go give it space here.

Awesome. One of the best shots I’ve seen in a while. It almost looks like a fake tilt shift. Too cute how the little sparrow looks striaght into the camera.
Thanks Peter, and thanks to Canon for their wonderful primes, and my favourite EF 85/1.2L II which together with EF 35/1.4L has the most beautiful bokeh I ever seen – allowing me to make shots like this!
It is also one of my favourite shots which I made in a while
